These performances took place in Carrara and Florence. At FAC, sculpture is physical, collective, and never finished. On stage, I worked with my own body as material. Nudity, temporary bondage situations, wild kisses, paint and much more, were used to make states of tension, control, vulnerability and, of course, punk rock visible.
My body became a temporary sculpture, marked, constrained, released again and reacting to sound, rhythm and the presence of others.
Of many others.
These actions were not theatrical gestures, but processes under live conditions. What I investigate in sculpture, pressure, imprint, resistance, transformation, the presence of other artist, shifted into real time, into the space between music, audience and collective energy.
Pure ecstasy.
Working with White Room allowed me to merge performance with sound and to test how far sculptural thinking can expand beyond the studio. FAC was always present in this work: as attitude, as shared language, as trust in risk and openness.These performances form a continuous line within my artistic practice where sculpture and performance are not separate disciplines, but different states of the same process.
