When we began looking into the Bridge of Messina, it was surprisingly not the bridge itself that interested us. We are neither traffic planners nor civil engineers, and we possess neither the expertise nor the interest required to assess the technical feasibility of such a project. What fascinated us was something else: the way in which an infrastructure project gradually became a political symbol, and how that symbol increasingly merged with a single individual.
Some projects are born from planning. Others are born at night, somewhere between fog machines, quantum theories, empty museum corridors and the feeling that reality itself might only be a very unstable temporary condition. One among many.
With Token 2, we address the stereotypes of our society.
Carriona Beach is a temporary and visionary installation that transforms the Carriona riverbed into a surreal beachscape, a daydream drifting between the absurd and the poetic.
Carrara Studi Aperti 2025 presents itself with a logo created by us! Juhuuu!!
In our gallery Fronteacciaiocromato in Carrara, a space dedicated to critical art, we have once again embraced the challenge of connecting art, life, and protest. Our latest work, two small steel-concrete reliefs installed just below the main entrance, depicting Donald Trump and Elon Musk, is far more than a mere representation of these controversial figures. It is our commentary on a crazy reality, a conversation starter, an act of resistance and yes, perhaps even an invitation for interaction that goes far beyond mere observation.
"Spock, the Brave Guardian of the Universe and of All Sausages"
With SCAVI3030, we at Fronteacciaiocromato aimed to open a dialogue between the past, present, and a speculative future. Our goal was to question the mechanisms of power and their influence on collective memory by centering the narrative around an apparently archetypal archaeological discovery, intended to provoke reflection on the reality of our contemporary society.
