As the artist collective FronteAcciaioCromato (F.A.C.), we have created a series of 70x50 cm screen prints that stand out for their use of Italian wordplay.

When creating the sculpture "Unchained", I wanted to incorporate the power and symbolism of the hammer, connecting it with the idea of liberation. A hammer is not just a tool; it represents strength, determination, and change. It's the instrument we use to shape, destroy, or release things. In my work, the hammer holds special significance: it embodies both the weight of the material and the possibility of achieving freedom through that very weight.

Together since the Chaos Days in 1996 in good old Hannover, our wedding finally took place on September 2, 2016, in Carrara. A day filled with love, art, and creativity! Memorable, as we see it! We wanted a ceremony that reflected us and our passions, that expressed our close connection to art. So, we decided to split the celebrations into two parts: an official ceremony in Carrara’s town hall and an unconventional Bondage performance in our studio, Fac Fronteacciaiocromato, in the old town.

Our installation, created in 2015 in a decommissioned marble sawmill in Carrara, presents a provocative and controversial statement that has always polarized the art scene.

With her photo series „The Sadly Sins“ Stefanie presents a subversive, visually powerful work that has deeply impressed us at F-A-C  Fronte Acciaio Cromato with its complexity and layered meaning.

NO!art is a radical avant-garde anti-art movement started in New York in 1959. Its founders sought to deliver a shock to the complacent consumerist society around them.
