Our hanging sculpture, made of shiny, perforated metal, resembles a satellite suspended between heaven and earth. With its clear geometric forms and industrial aesthetics, the work creates a powerful tension between technical precision and spiritual symbolism.
The use of light and shadow casts sharp shadows on the walls, extending the physical presence of the piece beyond the room. At the same time, the work reflects or projects a cool, mystical light onto the floor, seemingly connecting the installation with an invisible force. This light reflection reinforces the central idea of the work: the “satellite” acts as a medium that receives the “Voice of God” and transmits it into the space.
The choice of material (scrap metal from Airbus production) the cool, shiny surface emphasizes the technologically futuristic appearance of the satellite, while the fragility of the perforated surfaces gives the work a certain vulnerability. It is this duality between monumental presence and delicate fragility that makes the piece particularly fascinating.
